The name Spin-Grip points out the first. The outer sleeve doesn't spin so you can hold on tight while the shaft spins inside. Not only does it offer you more stability but it keeps the spinning shaft from marring your fixtures. The quick release bit holder can be operated easily even with gloves on. A bit holder that just uses a magnet allows the bit tip to slip out and and a bit holder with a c clip can make it a real pain to switch bits. You will love this quick release bit holder.
